The year 2025 has come to a close. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the players who have been with us and loved CookieRun: Braverse TCG since its first launch in Taiwan and Southeast Asia in 2024.

As the eventful year of 2025 sets, we bow our heads in deep thanks to the players who have filled the world of CookieRun: Braverse TCG with burning passion from our first steps in 2024 until now. Running toward the 1st anniversary of our launch in Southeast Asia and the 2nd anniversary in Taiwan, many products and cards have met you. Thanks to the affectionate feedback and support you sent, we were able to dream of a better future every day. To repay that support, we would like to share news of new changes and joy prepared for our Asia fans in the upcoming 2026.

1. Hotter Competition, Introduction of the '1 Round Bye' Ticket

Starting in 2026, the tournament system will become even more exciting. To address the limitations of the existing seed system, we are introducing the ‘1 round bye’ ticket system to make your challenges more engaging and fun. As previously announced in the 2026 Roadmap, we aim to provide an environment where you can truly enjoy the game through this new ticket system, moving beyond a simple seed distribution process.

What is a ‘1 round bye’ ticket?

A ‘1 round bye’ ticket is a ticket that is considered as 1 win per ticket when used in the next stage of a tournament. If you get this ‘1 round bye’ ticket in the Brave League season, it can be used in the Finals of your desired season, and the ‘1 round bye’ ticket obtained in the Brave League Season Finals can be used in the Summer or Winter Champion Cup. A maximum of 4 ‘1 round bye’ tickets per season will be given to one person.

Don't just stop at gaining the qualification to participate; collect more tickets and strategically challenge for the World Championship!

2. The Excitement of Meeting First, 'Pre-release' Event

For those who wait with a fluttering heart every time a new booster pack is released, we are establishing a new Pre-release period. Starting from booster pack products released in 2026, there will be a Pre-release period and a Pre-release event will be held during that time. In the case of the Pre-release event, it will be held in a Draft event format, and a special promo card that can only be obtained during that one week of Pre-release will be given. Experience the meta faster than others and get your hands on limited-time special promo cards!

3. Changes to the 2026 Brave League Season & Finals

Next, the 2026 Brave League will be held in a total of 4 seasons. It is a method where the Finals are held in the third month after about two months of season competition, and 2 types of promo cards will be given for each season. The first season of 2026 starts on February 6, when BS9 is officially released, and the [Giant Cherry Bomb] card will be given as the first card.

After that, starting from the Brave League Season Finals tournament, unlike before, anyone can freely participate. However, players with ‘1 round bye’ tickets will compete under much more advantageous conditions. For the prize lineup, in addition to the promo cards previously provided, we intend to provide playmats to TOP 8 players and sleeves to TOP 16 players. As new prizes are provided and opportunities are given to more players, we hope this becomes a reason for everyone to enjoy the game even more.

4. Expansion of 'Social Play' for Everyone to Enjoy Together

In addition to the competitive play environment, we are preparing Stage Weekly events, Cookie Parties, and various other special rule events to aim for social play.

Stage Weekly is an unofficial event held every week at card shops. Since you can obtain specific promotion packs only through this event, it will be a reason to participate in the Weekly events.

Cookie Party is a social play-oriented tournament held outside of the Brave League. Cookie Parties will be held every month for a year, and since another promo card is given to the winner and one person through a lucky draw every month, you can aim for a chance in the draw even if you do not have high skills. As it is held separately from the World Championship tournament, it will be an opportunity to test more diverse decks and socialize with friends.

Lastly, we are preparing various special rule formats such as team battles and multi-player battles using the existing rules of CookieRun: Braverse TCG. Please look forward to the new tournaments that will be held in these formats!

In addition to this, we are accelerating infrastructure improvements such as the official site reorganization and Asia joining the PLAY website so that you can easily access game information and enjoy the community anytime, anywhere. Our team will gain strength from the praise you send and humbly accept sharp advice to grow a little more every day. In 2026, we hope that CookieRun: Braverse TCG goes beyond a simple card game and becomes a joyful festival in your daily life.
