Hello, this is the CookieRun: Braverse TCG team.
We sincerely apologize for the confusion and inconvenience caused by the recent announcement regarding the banned & restricted list. In particular, we deeply acknowledge that by posting the announcement in the same format used for other regions, some of you may have felt that your community was not fully respected.
CookieRun: Braverse TCG is now enjoyed simultaneously across multiple regions worldwide. In the past, differences in product release schedules between regions led to variations in how banned & restricted lists were managed. However, as release gaps have narrowed, the need for a unified global standard has become clear. Accordingly, the banned & restricted list is now synchronized and applied globally. The recent announcement was prepared based on this global standard.
Even though the game has only just launched, we felt it was necessary to announce the list proactively. This is because in other regions, Yellow decks had long dominated as an overwhelming tier 1 archetype. We attempted various countermeasures, such as the distribution of [P-030 Sherbet Cookie] and the application of restrictions, but the sheer power of Yellow deck cards and their specific power moves proved too strong. This imbalance consistently appeared across all regions, making adjustments unavoidable. As a result, we issued the banned & restricted list immediately after launch, despite its early timing.
We firmly believe these changes will serve as a foundation for a clearer and more consistent competitive environment in the long term. Moving forward, any application of the banned & restricted list will continue to be made with the utmost care, prioritizing the experience of all players.
Once again, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the way the announcement was communicated and by using the same wording as other regions. We will strive to ensure more attentive communication in the future.
Sincerely,
The CookieRun: Braverse TCG Team.
