The CookieRun: Braverse TCG is currently released in various regions and languages.
As product availability and play environments vary across regions, it is necessary to implement region-specific banned & restricted policies. Accordingly, moving forward, the Global banned & restricted List for the CookieRun Trading Card Game will differ by region, both in terms of implementation timing and applicable cards.
Please refer to your respective official websites for details on your region’s banned & restricted Lists:
- Korea: Official Korean website
- Taiwan: Official Taiwanese website
- Southeast Asia & North America: Official English website
NA Banned & Restricted Lists
In CookieRun: Braverse TCG, you may include up to 4 copies of a card with the same card number in your deck.
However, for the sake of fairness and game balance, certain cards may be subject to the Banned & Restricted Policy in official and unofficial events. These regulations limit the number of specific cards that may be included in a deck.
There are two categories:
- Banned Cards: These cards cannot be included in your deck.
- Restricted Cards: Only 1 copy of the card may be included in your deck.
The list of banned & restricted cards may be updated or lifted depending on gameplay trends and the need for rule adjustments. Please note that these changes are made to ensure the best possible play experience for all players in the current game environment.
We kindly ask all players to review the Banned & Restricted Policy before participating in any tournament to avoid penalties or disqualification.

[Banned Cards]

【BS2-003 Rebel Cookie】
This card can enter the field during the opponent’s turn and deal preemptive damage to an opponent’s Cookie, creating an overwhelmingly favorable situation for the player using it.
This ability suppresses the play of LV.3 Cookies and encourages battles at lower levels, ultimately harming the game’s strategic depth and diversity.
For these reasons, we have determined that this card undermines the integrity of the game and are designating it as a Banned card.

【BS1-049 Tropical Slushie】
In Yellow decks, this card has been used to deal excessive damage relative to its cost by filling the Break Area exclusively with LV.2 or higher Cookies.
We have continued to monitor the usage and impact of this card even after it was designated as a Restricted card.
However, even under the current restriction, the outcome of a match is heavily influenced by whether this single card appears during the game—resulting in a significant increase in Yellow deck win rates.
We believe such a level of impact on game results is undesirable, and are therefore designating this card as a Banned card.
[Restricted Cards]

【BS01-007 Melon Bun Cookie】 【BS01-032 Banana Cookie】 【BS01-057 Bellflower Cookie】 【BS02-035 Salt Cookie】 【BS02-053 Ninja Cookie】
With the repeated appearance of high-HP LV.1 Cookies, there have been frequent cases where the amount of damage required to defeat a player became excessively high compared to when other Cookies were used.
These Cookies offer exceptional defensive performance, often resulting in matches that last significantly longer than expected. As this trend is not considered desirable for the overall management of the game, the five cards listed above have been designated as Restricted.
