Taiwan Banned & Restricted Lists
In CookieRun: Braverse TCG, you may include up to 4 copies of a card with the same card number in your deck.
However, for the sake of fairness and game balance, certain cards may be subject to the Banned & Restricted Policy in official and unofficial events. These regulations limit the number of specific cards that may be included in a deck.
There are two categories:
-
Banned Cards: These cards cannot be included in your deck.
-
Restricted Cards: Only 1 copy of the card may be included in your deck.
The list of banned & restricted cards may be updated or lifted depending on gameplay trends and the need for rule adjustments. Please note that these changes are made to ensure the best possible play experience for all players in the current game environment.
Accordingly, based on the current game rules and competitive environment, we would like to add the following cards to the currently implemented Taiwan Banned & Restricted Lists.
The following cards will be designated as Banned or Restricted starting from the dates below, depending on the region:
-
June 30
We kindly ask all players to review the Banned & Restricted Policy before participating in any tournament to avoid penalties or disqualification.
[Banned Cards]

【BS1-049 Tropical Slushie】
In Yellow decks, this card has been used to deal excessive damage relative to its cost by filling the Break Area exclusively with LV.2 or higher Cookies.
While there are several item cards that can deal damage without going through a battle, this is the only one capable of dealing 4 or more damage for just 2 cost.
Additionally, in the late game, holding multiple copies of this card in hand has often led to matches being decided without any battle taking place. This undermines the core enjoyment of attacking and defending in this game. Therefore, this card has been designated as Restricted.

【BS4-040 Essence of Rejuvenation】
This card’s effect condition is easy to fulfill, and when combined with specific cards, it allows players to rapidly lower the Break Area's LV. This not only creates an excessive advantage for the player but also significantly prolongs the duration of the game.
Such characteristics are considered to hinder the strategic and tactical diversity that CookieRun: Braverse TCG aims to promote and limit deck-building variety. Therefore, this card has been designated as Banned.
[Restricted Cards]

【BS01-007 Melon Bun Cookie】 【BS01-032 Banana Cookie】 【BS01-057 Bellflower Cookie】 【BS02-035 Salt Cookie】 【BS02-053 Ninja Cookie】
With the repeated appearance of high-HP LV.1 Cookies, there have been frequent cases where the amount of damage required to defeat a player became excessively high compared to when other Cookies were used.
These Cookies offer exceptional defensive performance, often resulting in matches that last significantly longer than expected. As this trend is not considered desirable for the overall management of the game, the five cards listed above have been designated as Restricted.

[BS4-026 Stormbringer Cookie]
The existence of this card has significantly devalued LV.2 Cookies in the game, leading to the emergence of decks that rely solely on LV.1 and LV.3 Cookies.
Regardless of whether the Yellow player actually holds this card in hand, the mere presence of the card in the game restricts the opponent’s freedom of play and has negatively impacted the game’s overall environment.
However, by limiting this card to 1 copy per deck, if it ends up in the Trash or Support Area during the mid-game, it will no longer reappear in that match—thereby reducing the disadvantage of including LV.2 Cookies.
Additionally, Yellow decks will find it more difficult to build passive deck strategies that revolve around drawing this card, leading us to designate it as a restricted card.
